The Chicken House is a Very Spacious 3 Feet Wide x 3 Feet 6 Inches Deep, it is
Well Ventilated and is Suitable for 6 -8 Chickens. The House stands 5 Feet Tall at Highest Point

The Covered Run is 5 Feet 8 Inches Long x 42 Inches Deep and Stops the Run Floor becoming a Mud Patch in the Wet Weather! The Run Extends Underneath the Hen House giving an Effective Run Length of 8 Feet 9 Inches, Again the Run stands 5 Feet High at Highest Point Giving Easy Access to the Run. There is Also a Mid Height Perch Fitted to the Run.

Thank you so much for our James Hen House It is truly beautiful,I trawled the net for weeks,and kept coming back to Woodenart,Am I pleased that I did,Mark and Ian take such pride in their work and it certainly shows in the finished product,nothing is to much trouble for them,even mending our fence.Wonderful customer service,thank you Mark for being so patient with me, answering all of my questions..We highly recommend Woodenart ...Just need my girls now....

Thank you Woodenart for our James henhouse and run, we are so pleased with it. Looks great in the garden and is a very spacious home for our 3 hens, they have settled down very nicely and are just as happy as we are. To any potential customers reading these reviews definately place your order with Woodenart. Mark and Ian are honest and trustworthy, the quality of their work is immaculate. Do not waste your money on flatpack imported rubbish - buy British, it is made with care to last, is more cost effective in the long run and much easier than trying to make your own !. Thank you Woodenart, you are the best ! Maggie, Peggy and Cinderella the hen's are in paradise !

We just want to say just how great the James coop is, a work of art! This company is the best and we have no hesitation in recommending them. The best quality and design around.The girls shall be arriving at the end of Feb.So now all we have to do is plan the "COOP WARMING" party A big thank Mark and Ian for the advice,help, and super service. Fantastic home for my 4 girls they love it as much as me. Mark was fantastic and very helpful to me when I was um ing and wondering what coop to buy. What size and what was available. I am delighted with the finished result and would highly recommend this company and I am VERY fussy. The James looks so good in the garden.

I am extremely happy with my choice of hen house. My ex bats have settled in really well and are laying and clucking non stop. Though Mark thought my choice of colour was too bright (hope he puts a picture up!) all the neighbours are very impressed; with the colour as well as the great build quality. Would highly recommend.

After hours of surfing the net I finally plumped for a James henhouse for my soon-to-arrive hens. It was delivered as promised and erected by Mark and Ian with care and love.It looks fantastic nestled among the foliage and makes a feature of a previously unused area of the garden. Thank you so much,woodenart, for such a professional and friendly experience.It is good to know that there are still companies out there who care about their product and customers. Now just need the birds!

We are absolutely delighted with our lovely hen house. It arrived on time and is a wonderful enhancement to the garden. It's very good quality and having spent several weeks researching beforehand, trying to find a nice, large, spacious home for my ex battery girls, I am confident that I got the best deal with the James hen house. We have had our James hen house for a month now and are really happy with it. It is excellent quality and so easy to keep clean. Our ex battery hens started laying the day we got them, and our neighbours are so impressed that they have placed an order with Woodenart!

After spending several weeks researching chickens and their needs, we decided on the James chicken coop. It was the best decision we made, as the house is of a superb quality and the chickens settled in almost immediately - laying eggs the next day! Mark and Ian delivered and assembled our James Chicken Coop at the end of November. Even after winter it still looks as good as new and our Chickens just love it. Last week we added a VSBi Automatic Pop Hole also from Woodenart, which we use with the original door. Now our girls are really in their element as they no longer have to wait for us to get up and let them out in the mornings and we get to lie in at the weekends.
The best quality chicken house by far - and I searched for ages !

A superb quality chicken house/run. Have had many admiring comments from neigbours and visitors. Our newly purchased POL 4 Welsummer hens settled into their new abode straight away and must've felt happy as we had eggs from day one ! Wonderful customer service too - so all in all a pleasant experience dealing with Woodenart - happy customer - but more importantly happy hens :o) Thank you.

We are thrilled with our new Hen house (and so are the hens more importantly). Its beautifully built and looks amazing.
Mark and Ian answered any questions or queries we had and installed everything to perfection on the day. The ladder was swapped for a ramp as our girls (all ex batts) find this easier

Extremely pleased with both the hen house and Mark & Ian's wonderful customer service. Everything from placing order, delivery, erection etc done exactly to date/time quoted. This is our first chicken keeping experience and Mark & Ian answered all our questions. We specifically chose this model for ease of cleaning out - and boy is it easy! Everything is at the perfect height so no bad backs etc. We are the envy of all our chicken keeping friends. Our 6 bantams are thriving in it and are producing eggs happily at an average of 18 per week. Many thanks, couldn't praise product or service highly enough.

Mark and Ian, I recently purchased the THE JAMES' CHICKEN COOP HEN HOUSE AND RUN what great service, not only did you arrive on the date promised but on time which says a lot considering other company's promisees and with the complacent attitude they seem to have,
In my opinion "The James Chicken Coop" is first class build and smallest attention to detail has not been overlooked, well done lads

Mark and Ian delivered our James chicken house yesterday. We are so pleased with the quality of the build that we keep going out to admire it. We even had the neighbours round! The service was excellent too - thanks Mark and Ian.
This chicken house is streets ahead of any we have seen, and was well worth the wait.
All we need now are some chickens!

The whole experience was excellent. I am disabled and was worried that I would have problems reaching the hens to care for them, but I have found, as the roosting area is off the floor, that I can access it easily.
Our new hens Tikka, Korma, Jemima and Henrietta have setteled in so well that we have already had 3 eggs and they have only been with us for 3 days! They obviously love their new home.

This wasn't our first hen house but, from start to finish, it was by far the best "hen-house buying" experience we have had. The hen house is well designed and made to a very high standard. Mark and Ian are very friendly and obviously took great pride in their product. We had requested some alterations and Mark was always patient with our requests which were all incorporated into the final build. The photos on the website do not do the hen house justice as it is even better looking "in the flesh". My hens are very happy to live in it now. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who is thinking of buying from them.
We could not be more pleased with either the henhouse or the service offered by Mark and Ian.

Mark and Ian arrived at the time they specified and put the house and run together so efficiently. They were really helpful and gave us lots of advice for settling the chickens in. As we are initially getting ex-battery hens they gave us a different ladder which would be easier for them to get up which was a really nice touch. The quality of the coop and run is excellent with great attention to detail. I would recommend them to anyone.
An excellent hen house, the chickens are extremely happy. Easy to clean and so well made it leaves others way behind.

What a fantastic, well-made, quickly constructed, quality chicken coop! woodenart was recommended by www.poultrychat.com users and we couldn't be happier. The response to our requests was "nothing was too much trouble" and woodenart customised the pophole for our larger than life Brahmas and the expert, friendly installation by Mark & Ian was the perfect start to our chicken keeping career.
Would HIGHLY recommed these houses to the discerning poultry keeper!
We find the house very easy to use and more importantly easy to keep clean.

We have now had our James Hen House for 6 weeks and our 4 hens - Chili, Pepper, Blue and Lucky - are just getting into the swing of laying lovely eggs. When Mark and Ian came to deliver the James they were obviously very proud, almost to the point of not wanting to give it away! Delivery and construction was on time and very quick. We find the house very easy to use and more importantly easy to keep clean. The layout of the house is well thought out, and our request to have the nest box moved to the end of the house was not a problem. All in all a great home for our girls!!
